lEARN my lesson- march 29, 2024

From jfarr:

When I was writing “LEARN MY LESSON” I was dealing with some very serious conversations within myself. When you’re facing your own thoughts on something as deep rooted as bad habits, the series of questions you ask yourself goes along the lines of something like this: “What are my values?”, “Who am I if I don’t kick this bad habit?” and most importantly “What is the root of this habit?”

Self reflection is something that I always was a little uncomfortable writing about cause lets be honest, being an artist is uncomfortable if you write about things that are real and honest to you. It doesn’t always have to be that way, because art is art no matter the subject matter.

But writing about something that is otherwise embarassing to talk about to anyone in a normal conversation is just not on my list of “comfortable” things to do.

I love this song so much, and I know that we all have some skeletons in our closets that we choose to hide. Nobody is perfect and I mean NOBODY.

Following up the first single released in February, jfarr returns with a new funky and catchy track “LEARN MY LESSON”. Speaking on the hardships of overcoming bad habits, and keeping skeletons in the closet. jfarr infuses his inspirations to create a fun and replayable second single off his upcoming project “IT JUST TAKES TIME.”

“I've spent most of my life learning to better understand myself, and I just want to write songs that explain each step of the way. I think it's so cool how I can compile all these complex emotions and thoughts into one final song that you will end up listening to in whatever situation you find my music fits. It goes to show how important it is for me to express myself to the best of my ability. So you can understand clearly what I'm talking about. I hope you get the message."
